vrijdag 25 juni 2010 5 million breeders on Vencomatic nests in South America

The team of Vencomatic do Brasil recently announced a milestone in the sales of automatic nest systems for hatching egg collection in South America. Currently 5 million breeders are housed on the nest systems of Vencomatic, of which approximately 3.5 million in Brasil. The automatic nest box is becoming more and more accepted for hatching egg collection in South America.

“In the past, we really needed to convince people of the advantages of automatic nests, as most companies were used to manual egg collection,” according to mr. Luis Sergio Del Nero, general manager of Vencomatic do Brasil. “Today, our customers understand that automatic collection leads to improved egg quality, which leads to improved hatchability and chick quality. A small calculation can easily show the economical benefit of our nest systems.”

Vencomatic started to produce their nest systems in Brasil since 1998. In 2006 a large new facility was opened and the Brazilian team expanded gradually. An important key to the success of Vencomatic do Brasil is the management support which is offered to customers. Mr. Del Nero: “As most breeder managers are used to the management of manual nest layouts, mistakes are easy made after the installation of automatic nests. By supporting and training our customers in the management of their birds in these new layouts, we see that the achieved results are perfect. This is what we call managing perfection.”
