General
The role involves providing mechanical servicing, installation, and repair of equipment supplied by The Vencomatic Group. This is primarily a field‑based position, requiring regular travel across the UK with occasional nights away. Team meetings will take place at our Thirsk HQ.
You will report to the Technical / Engineering Manager, David Johnstone.
You will be responsible for carrying out day‑to‑day repairs and installations of both Vencomatic and Prinzen equipment, working closely with team members and contractors to ensure smooth, successful project delivery.
In Particular you will be involved in:
Mechanical servicing, repairs, and installations
Commissioning of Vencomatic and Prinzen mechanical installations
Attending and resolving mechanical breakdowns
Creating accurate material lists for projects and repairs
Learning and using computer‑controlled equipment, including ventilation systems
Liaising with customers, team members, and contractors
Maintaining detailed records and documentation
Supporting project delivery from start to finish
Requirements
Strong focus on customer excellence, professionalism, and attention to detail
Motivating and positive presence within the installation/commissioning team
Confident communicator with good telephone and interpersonal skills
Willingness to gain in‑depth knowledge of Vencomatic Group equipment
Ability to record information clearly and stay organised
Proactive attitude toward learning new skills and processes
Ability to manage personal workload, prioritise tasks, and respond to demand
Commitment to implementing and adhering to company Health & Safety policies
Flexibility to support other staff roles when required
Willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as assigned
