Office admin assistant vacancy role   with Vencomatic Group UK

Location: Thirsk

Hours: 22.5 per week (part‑time) 10am-2:30pm (flexible)

Pay: Starting at £13 per hour

We are a well‑established poultry equipment supplier looking for a reliable and organised Office Administration Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident communicating with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Office Duties — answering phones, greeting visitors, handling reception tasks, and supporting day‑to‑day office operations.

  • Invoicing & Order Administration — processing customer orders, raising invoices, and assisting with breakdown/service documentation.

  • Transport Booking — arranging inbound and outbound deliveries, liaising with couriers, and ensuring accurate dispatch information.

  • Returns Handling — coordinating aftersales returns and project‑related returns, ensuring correct documentation and follow‑up.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous admin experience preferred, ideally in a customer‑facing or logistics‑related environment.

  • Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner.

  • Good organisational ability with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team while also managing tasks independently.

  • Comfortable using office software and learning internal systems.
