Meggsius Detect
Meggsius Detect is an automatic leaking egg detection system designed to identify leaking eggs as they move from the egg belt onto the infeed conveyor of an egg handling or packing system. Compatible with most packers, it can be integrated into a wide range of existing setups to help identify leakers early in the process.
By detecting leaking eggs before they travel further through the system, Meggsius Detect helps reduce contamination of surrounding eggs and equipment, while minimising unnecessary cleaning and interruptions during egg collection. When a leaking egg is detected, the system can stop the egg belt and infeed conveyor, allowing the operator to remove the egg quickly and restart the process.
This supports cleaner, more consistent egg handling while helping reduce manual intervention, protect equipment and improve overall workflow.

No contamination
After a leaking egg is found, the egg belt and the packer’s infeed belt will stop automatically. The leaking egg can be removed manually and there is no further contamination of the belt and surrounding eggs. After removing the leaky egg and cleaning, the system is simply restarted by pushing the signal button. Meggsius Detect ensures a good egg inspection with more ease, less cleaning work, better hygiene which results in better egg quality.
